“Isola 8 the name is derived from the Italian word for “island” and the number of people it accommodates attractive design. “The inspiration for my work to date by Nienkämper is to create an oasis from the world of static, an island for eight that offers a myriad of seating solutions,” said Karim Rashid. Swirling shape, he added, shows not only an island but also the symbol for infinity.

Ideal for lobbies, lounges, libraries and various other public places, Isola 8 combines the aesthetic possibilities of the manufacturing practices of environmentally responsible.
